When handling personal data, we proceed in accordance with the Czech laws and regulations and directly applicable EU legislation, in particular Act No. 110/2019 Coll., on the processing of personal data, as amended, and Act No. 480/2004 Coll., and in accordance with Article 13 of Regulation (EU) No. 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016, the General Data Protection Regulation on certain information society services and amending certain laws, as amended.

The following text explains how and for what purposes we process your personal data and who the processors may be. As this information is important, we hope you will take the time to carefully read through the text.

When is it not necessary for us to obtain consent to personal data processing?

We can only process personal data without your consent for the following purposes:

  • Performance of a contract concerning the provision of a service or product
  • Fulfilment of our legal obligations ensuing from generally binding laws and regulations.
  • Processing within a legitimate interest (e.g. direct marketing, ensuring safety and protection of life).

For what purpose do we process personal data and for how long?

The data may be used for commercial and marketing purposes, i.e., to maintain a database of website users and to offer goods and services, for as long as the legal grounds exist for this type of processing and use of personal and other data. In other words, we collect your personal data so that you can use our services and to report back to you with any updates. Form completion – we process the personal data you enter when completing the consent form in order to perform the contract, i.e., to deliver goods or services. In addition, we may process the data in order to fulfil our legal obligations (in particular our registration obligations, archiving of fiscal receipts, etc.) and to safeguard our legal claims.

We may use identification and address data for purposes related to internal statistics under the doctrine of legitimate interest. The anonymised outcomes of these statistics help us improve our services, including through user behaviour analyses and marketing.

Personal data collected through cookies is processed with your consent (which can be granted by ticking the relevant option in the Web interface after you are notified we use cookies and after you have had the opportunity to review this Policy). We may process the personal data we collected through cookies even if you continue to use the Web interface after you have been notified of such processing of your personal data. The personal data collected through cookies help us provide user support and improve our services, including through user behaviour analyses and marketing.

Any personal data collected for the above purposes is provided entirely voluntarily and consent must be given by the user actively interacting with (ticking) the consent box, or under the doctrine of legitimate interest. You can withdraw your consent to the processing of your data at any time by email.

Your personal data is processed by the Controller within the meaning of the Personal Data Protection Act; however, it may also be processed for the Controller by other entities (as processors or controllers):

We may further authorise other data processors or operators (such as carriers or other operators involved in the performance of a contract and fulfilment of our obligations), but only to the extent necessary for the performance of the contract. We will not transfer your personal data to anyone. The personal data and other information we obtain is fully protected against misuse. The personal data will be processed in electronic form in an automated manner or in a printed form in a non-automated manner. Your personal data will not be transferred to countries outside the European Union.

What are my rights in the context of personal data protection?

  • To request information from us on what personal data is being processed.
  • To request clarification from from us regarding the processing of your personal data.
  • To request access to your data and to have the data updated or rectified.
  • To request that we erase your personal data.
  • To request data portability.
  • To be informed about a personal data breach in certain cases.

You have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority regarding the processing of your personal data or the failure of the Controller to fulfil the obligations inherent in the GDPR at any time. The supervisory authority in the Czech Republic is the Office for Personal Data Protection, with its registered office at Pplk. Sochora 27, 170 00 Prague 7, www.uoou.cz.

Updates to the Privacy Policy

We may modify or update the Privacy Policy at any time. Any changes to this Privacy Policy will take effect once they are made available on this website.
