Recovering SD card on Monarco HAT

Hello,

Recently while using the monarco HAT we ran into a bad SD card issue--the HAT was not booting and the sd card was very hot. We noticed the SD card had fractured (not sure what caused this, but will be putting the monarco HAT in more protective casing in the future).

Now we have a fresh SD card and want to make sure we are taking the right steps to recover the firmware. After installing Raspbian on this card, how can we best re-install Rexygen and the Monarco HAT firmware?

Thank you.

Re: Recovering SD card on Monarco HAT

Hello Selam,

sorry to hear that you have difficulties with SD card. The process of making your Raspberry Pi up and running again would be following:

1) Perform step by step installation according to the Chapter 3 in Getting Started Guide: https://www.rexygen.com/doc/PDF/ENGLISH … df#page=10
2) Once REXYGEN installation on Raspberry Pi is successfully finished, you need to reactivate your license. Please, make an account at https://licensing.rexygen.com and I will pair the licence you bought with this account. Afterwards you will be able to reactivate the licence for your Raspberry with new SD card.

Monarco HAT firmware will remain untouched - no need to flash it again.

Just let me know when your REXYGEN account is ready and send me (support(at)monarco.io) the e-mail address which you used for the account.

PS: More about licensing can be found: http://support.rexygen.com/knowledge_ba … -mechanism

Regards, Tomas
