Error when creating bootable image for WAGO PFC200 (750-8202)

Hello,

I am trying to create a bootable image (transfer from SD to flash memory) according to the instructions for WAGO.
I have used Etcher to copy the image to the SD card and the PLC seems to boot from it.

I have tried it about 4 times and recreated the SD card (once with Win32DiskImager, once with Etcher).
I have tried with the default 'wago' password and a changed password for admin, but have not made any other changes.

See attached images for error, info and diagnostics.

I hope you can help me,
Richard

Re: Error when creating bootable image for WAGO PFC200 (750-8202)

FYI, When the SD card is removed, the PLC does seem to start Rexygen.

Diagnostics:
Mon Mar 05 2012 15:20:29.000000 init: System Booted
Mon Mar 05 2012 15:49:42.685682 rexcore: Initializing RexCore
Mon Mar 05 2012 15:49:42.839048 rexcore: RexCore initialized

However, when trying to connect to the PLC from Rexygen, i am stuck on Bad user name or password (code -125).
The password is still default (wago) and i can use it to login to the WBM.

Re: Error when creating bootable image for WAGO PFC200 (750-8202)

Dear Richard,
sorry to hear about the difficulties. REXYGEN has its own security mechanisms, the default username is admin and the password is just blank. Apart from this, everything seems to be fine on your Wago PFC.

Please keep me updated about your progress.

With kind regards,
Jaroslav

Re: Error when creating bootable image for WAGO PFC200 (750-8202)

Thanks Jaroslav,

All working now.

RTFM i guess.
The error when copying the image threw me off and it mistakenly assumed that there was a problem.

Cheers,
Richard
