Monarco Hat Digital Output

When setting a digital output to on the output is not always at a steady state low. This causes the relay board to chatter the relay.
The period is around 100 ms with a pulse going high around 6 ms. I am using an external +5V supply for the relay board common ground.
Is there a way to set the output on/off. I found the (MNR__PWM1A) set it to (0). This occurs on all of the digital outputs 1-4.
I am using the time module to control a relay during a timed event.
Thanks
Jim

Re: Monarco Hat Digital Output

Hi Jim,

seems that the Monarco driver is executed with too long period. How long is your tick (parameter in EXEC block) and factor (in MonarcoHatDrv)? Product of these numbers should be at most 40 ms (because of watchdog and other features).

Cheers, Tomas

Re: Monarco Hat Digital Output

Hi Tomas,
The tick count on the EXEC block is set to .01, MonarcoHatDRV is set to 1

Re: Monarco Hat Digital Output

Hi Jim,

please, can you zip all your project files and post it here (or via email to cechura(at)rexcontrols.com) so we can investigate the issue with same source files?

Regards, Tomas
