HMI not accessable by browser

Hello

I got a program running and build a small HMI to test the whole package.

So now I got HMI working on the computer. But after changing the websocket and downloading the HMI to the Raspi I can't access it by browser.

Any suggestions are welcome smile

I see something about running another server in the tutorial. I run vnc server so i don't have to connect monitor/keyboard etc. Is that causing any problem with the websocket?

Re: HMI not accessable by browser

I use the port wich are installed by default.

Don't know how to get that info (sort of linux noob smile )

The HMI I built does work from the computer with the websocket configured. Without it (like said in th tutarial) downloaded to the RASPi it doesn't. Does that mean the port numbers don't cause a problem?

EDIT

I got it working somehow, just tried again with exporting the HTML end downloading to the RASPi.

Now it works big_smile

Happy user here smile

Re: HMI not accessable by browser

I assume you have already executed step 1 -5 from section 'Installing RexHMI components on your Raspberry Pi'?

If your default port (:80) is used by another application you can always change it into :8008 (or something else)

Re: HMI not accessable by browser

Prior to downloading the HMI to your Raspberry Pi it is necessary to remove the ws_ip setting and generate the HMI again.

This is described in steps 27 and 28 of the tutorial on using Inkscape with RexHMI extension.
