if you need global variable try to use "CNR" (real), "CNI" (integer) or "CNB" (bool) connected to "GoTo" block. Be sure to specify TagVisibility parameter inside "GoTo" flag as "global". Then add "From" flag and specify the same GotoTag parameter. This approach works within .mdl file.
For connections between different .mdl files see documentation for "Inport" and "Outport".
