And also the "Permanent" checkbox becomes more clear now to me.

The "Subsystem" is a really nice tool! It would be great if you could "add" your own "custom made subsystems" to your personal "library" blocks.
It is working of course by simply copying it from one project file and drop it into another project file, but adding it to the "custom"-library on your PC, would just be a nice feature :-)

The other part of your question can be solved by ticking the "Permanent" checkbox of the hour_meter subsystem and also of the INTE block inside the subsystem. That will make both the time scale and the hour meter value "permanent", i.e. they will be stored in a file on disk and they will be automatically loaded on startup. Default period of writing the values to disk is 5 minutes, i.e. in case of power failure your hour meter will be off by 5 minutes in the worst case scenario.

I observed that there is a problem with compiling the above mentioned example project.
The "popup string" appears to be incorrect.

I like to know how this should be setup correctly in order to use such a "hour meter" with different scales.

Second question related to that is that I would like to use above counter in a project to display total running hours, but I would like to make sure the counter will not reset back to "0" after a power failure but continues where it was before.
And also would like to avoid a different default "time scale" (seconds / minutes / hours / days), but the one that I selected prior to the power failure.
How can this be accomplished?
