yes the REXLANG source file (typically *.c or *.stl) must be put into the same folder as the library itself (*.mdl).

Practice Excel

connection using Excel macros and AutomationServer is not maintained anymore therefore the example has been removed. For what purpose would you use this approach?

You can now easily export trend data to CSV files to use with Excel.

Unreadable dialog in REXYGEN Studio

Our users have reported unreadable dialogs in REXYGEN Studio. You may have encountered something like this:

This happens on high-resolution displays (full HD displays on laptops or 4K displays in general).

The solution is to set environment variable:
QT_AUTO_SCREEN_SCALE_FACTOR=1

Google will help if you are not sure how to do it.

This bug will be fixed in the nearest release of REXYGEN.

Hello Hubert,

thank you for your question. There is example "0301-07 Multi-page HMI" available via REXYGEN Studio which shows how to combine Inkscape based HMI (.svg) with RexHMI (WebBuDi = .js). In similar way you can combine Inkscape based HMI with WebWatch as you wanted. I recommend you to give it a try and have a look at:

files inside "hmisrc" directory - naming is important!
HMI function block setup in REXYGEN Studio - for WebWatch also tick "GenerateWebWatch"
any .svg file in "hmisrc" directory - read the instructions given at the bottom of the page and investigate how creating links works
any .js file in "hmisrc" directory

The overwriting can occur only if the Inkscape HMI file names would be the same as .mdl file names (e.g. myproject_task.hmi.svg vs myproject_task.mdl) - but I see no point in mixing the names in this way

That definitely worked also for me. I am just not skilled in this language format :-)
The following expression hid the range selector:

{"showRangeSelector": 0}

I found usefull also an option includeZero to always include 0 value on y-axis and I managed to plot the area chart using fillGraph option.
The graph below was plotted using the following option string:

{"fillGraph": 1, "includeZero": 1, "showRangeSelector": 0}

did you go through the Getting started guide for REXYGEN on your platform? Its Appendix A illustrates the basics of REXYGEN HMI Designer in a step-by-step manner.

HMI on IE vers.11

Dear Jaroslav,

I have no valuable resason to run on IE. Just I give it try for testings, and in same time I found other things (not with HMI) not working well on IE, so I fill some challenge to find the real reason for this.
